Check out this photo gallery by volunteer event photographer Arno Knapen from the 26th Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta! We had a great time. Thank you to all for coming out and supporting River Legacy! We look forward to your creative cardboard boat entries again in 2016 - April 23!
The Cardboard Boat Regatta challenges amateur boat builders to design, build and navigate boats made entirely of corrugated cardboard. Come and enjoy the fun as you watch the masterful maneuvers of boats braving the waves at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor.
In addition to hosting the competition, the region's largest water park will open the popular Tornado ride PLUS Tsunami Surge & Twister; and Hook's Lagoon for guests and participants to enjoy.
2014's Cardboard Boat Regatta was featured on the Chevy Hometown Kids series TV show. Check out the episode here.
