Families will also learn how to prepare for different types of adventures, including day hikes, overnight camping trips, and backpacking.\nParticipants will get an up-close look at tents, backpacks, survival gear, and other equipment commonly used for hiking and camping. Most of the program will take place indoors in River Legacy Nature Center’s educational classrooms, with a large tent set up outside in a shaded area for guests to explore.\nThis program begins at 1:00 PM and is designed for families who want to feel more prepared and confident while exploring nature together.\nRSVP is required.
