Experience first hand the wonder-full learning environment of River Legacy’s Nature School during Open House from 10 am to 12 pm. Nature Walk

Explore the nature trails surrounding the Science Center on a family-friendly guided Nature Walk. FREE. Space is limited. RSVP to 817.860.6752. Nature Walks are usually held the fourth Saturdays of every month.

Conservation Saturdays

Conservation Saturdays are a fun and engaging way for families to learn and take part in various aspects of environmental conservation. Activities may include trail clean-ups, crafts and animal presentations, and talks. Monthly activity to be posted soon Space is limited, so please RSVP by calling 817.860.6752. Free, fun and educational for the whole family!

Creature Features

Join us for a meet and greet between 2 and 3 pm with one of our wildlife ambassadors and discover its habits and adaptations during this live animal observation with a River Legacy Naturalist. This month meet Poppy, our Virginia opossum. FREE. No RSVP required.

Home School Science Club

Home School Science Clubs meet monthly from 2 to 4 pm on scheduled Wednesdays for hands-on interactive experiences using the collections, specimens and resources of River Legacy!  Class fee applies.Register online for the 2019-2020 Home School Schedule or call 817.860.6752, ext. 102 to learn more.  This is the last meeting of the 2019-2020 school year.

After School Club

After School Clubs meet one Tuesday a month from 4:15 to 6:15 pm to explore the plants, animals and habitats of a riparian forest in the middle of the Metroplex at River Legacy. Clubs include Nature Explorers for grades K-1st; Eco Detectives for grades 2nd-3rd; and Junior Naturalists for grades 4th-6th. Class Fee applies.  This is the last meeting of the 2019-2020 school year. Be sure to register for 2019-2020 classes online at www.riverlegacy.org.
