The Art and Science of Arachnids Traveling Exhibit Opens
The Art and Science of Arachnids a limited-time, hands-on exhibit that features 100 live arachnids and their place in human culture, opening December 1, 2020!
Visitors will explore the largest arachnid display in North America as they discover human-arachnid cultural connections through hands-on activities like building robots, conducting science experiments, creating your own arachnid art and more. The exhibit also displays 100 live arachnids – including endangered species like the Tiger tarantula and Mexican Red Knee tarantula, alien-looking tailless whip scorpions, and beautiful Peacock tarantulas and Sun Tiger tarantulas!
Open 9 am to 5 pm, Tuesdays through Saturdays. Admission tickets can be purchased in the Center’s Gift Shop. (Last admission sold at 4:30 pm)
- Adults (13 to 59): $5
- Children (3 to 12; free for children 2 and under)*: $3
- Seniors (60 +): $4*All children must be accompanied by a paying adult
