Coexisting with Bobcats: Living Alongside Texas’ Elusive Wild Cat

Join Karin and Roberto Saucedo of Song Dog Watch for a fascinating look at the behavior, ecology and natural history of one of Texas’ most elusive native carnivores.

Through field observations, camera-trap footage and real-world examples, discover how bobcats navigate neighborhoods, raise their young and adapt to increasingly human-dominated landscapes. You’ll also learn how communities can live safely and responsibly alongside these remarkable wild neighbors.

Celebrating 30 Years of the Nature Center
Our key initiative is to educate the next generation of environmental stewards using the resources of River Legacy Park and River Legacy Nature Center. Starting with children as young as 3 years old, our environmental education programs expose children to the wonders of nature and their place in it. Through education, we preserve the Trinity River and its unique eco-system.
