Spring Break Class: Radical Reptiles

Learn about the largest order of reptiles, Squamata! Otherwise known as, snakes and lizards, radical! Come learn about what differentiates a lizard from a snake and vice versa. Learn about native lizards and snakes you can find in your backyard or out on the trail. What’s the difference between poison and venom? A River Legacy Naturalist will introduce all these topics and answer any squamata question you can think of!

These are the same classes offered at two different times each day. Please sign up for one class each day.

Know before you come:

  • Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Children 2 and under are free
  • Tickets will go on sale the day of each event at 10am.
  • Tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis, and must be purchased at the Nature Center.
