Story Time: Hibernation

Snuggle up for a special story time about hibernation! In partnership with Arlington Public Library, this interactive program explores how animals survive the colder months through rest, slowing down, and clever adaptations.

Families will enjoy two stories focused on animal hibernation and winter behaviors, featuring native animals found in our area. After story time, head outside for a short, family-style nature walk led by Dr. Ellen Ravkind, where participants will look for signs of animals preparing for or resting through winter.

This relaxed program encourages curiosity, movement, and connection with nature, making it perfect for toddlers, school-aged children, parents, and caregivers alike.
