Tony & Lucas

Ferrets
Tony and Lucas arrived at River Legacy Nature Center in 2024 after being rescued from separate homes. Despite their different backgrounds, they quickly became inseparable and now serve as beloved mammal ambassadors. These playful domestic ferrets help educate visitors about black-footed ferrets, a once nearly extinct species native to Texas. Known for their curious nature and boundless energy, Tony and Lucas bring joy to guests with their antics, from playful wrestling to cozy naptime snuggles. By sponsoring Tony and Lucas, you support their care and help share their important conservation story with the community.
