VIRTUAL W.A.T.E.R. Festival

Join us for our VIRTUAL W.A.T.E.R. (Water Awareness Through Education & Recreation) Festival to celebrate the wonderful resource of water with a variety of virtual experiences, crafts, and demonstrations during this FREE virtual festival! Watch this festival on River Legacy’s Facebook, YouTube, and Vimeo sites on September 12 at 10 am!

Enjoy content for all ages from River Legacy Foundation and other organizations like Texas Parks and Wildlife, The City of Arlington and The City of Arlington Water Utilities, U.S. Fish & Wildlife, Upper Trinity Groundwater Conservation District, Arlington Public Library, Trinity River Authority, and more! The festival will be viewable until September 30.

Families can also pick up FREE festival kits with more awesome activities and items like craft supplies, coloring books, and water exploration equipment! Kits can be picked up Thursday, Friday, or Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm, beginning August 20 and ending September 12. Kits can be picked up at the Nature Center, located at 703 N.W. Green Oaks Blvd., Arlington, Texas 76006. Available while supplies last.

This Virtual W.A.T.E.R. Festival will also feature the opportunity to win great prizes in a virtual drawing! To enter, take a photo of yourself on, in, or near some form of water. Get creative! After taking your best shot, enter the drawing by sharing it with us on Facebook by tagging @riverlegacyparks and use the hashtag #WaterFestival2020. The contest begins September 12 and the deadline to submit your photo is September 30 at midnight. Winners will be notified via Facebook and must pick up their prizes at River Legacy Nature Center.
